NINETIES TASMANIAN FOOTBALL LEGENDS

BRENDON "BENNY" GALE

Brendon Gale - A Tasmanian Football Legend Born on the 18th July 1968, the son of coastal football legend Don , Brendon Gale made his AFL debut in 1990 after being recruited from the Burnie Hawks. At 198 cm his height always makes him an awkward customer for opponents and he knew the ropes both in the ruck and in attack.
Gale was a ruckman/forward of vast experience having played 244 games and kicked 209 goals.
Despite being a cult hero at Punt Road, the man best known by fans as ‘Benny’ was forced into retirement by the club at the end of the 2001 season after 12 years and 243 games with the Tigers.
