Danny Noonan was born on the 29th November 1968.
He played two years of reserves football at Carlton then was delisted and joined Clarence Football Club in 1988, winning the club Best and Fairest in 1990.
He played 55 games for the red and white prior to going to Brisbane.
At the end of the 1990 season he was recruited by the Brisbane Bears as the number 2 selection in the pre draft pick of National Draft. He played 17 games during the 1991 season for a total of 5 goals.

He also won the club B&F in 1996 and 1997, both premiership years for Clarence. During his tenure at Clarence he was also the recipient of consecutive William Leitch medals in 1995 and 1996.
During the 1997 grand final against Burnie, Noonan played his last
TFL game in Tasmania. He went out on a high with a premiership medal and the Darrel Baldock Medal for Best on Ground. During the game he played on Peter German and tore him apart.

Danny Noonan emerged from retirement in 2002
to play for Dodges Ferry in the SFL Regional League. He won the Regional
League Best and Fairest award - the Hodgman medal - in 2003 before retiring
again at the end of the 2003 season.
