Michael Styles started his career with Glenorchy in 1986 and played for another 13 years retiring in 1999.
Michael Styles was the winner of the Roy Cazaly medal for Glenorchy best and Fairest player in 1992. From 1992 to 1998 he was captain of Glenorchy
He is a life member of the Glenorchy club and played 232 games for the Magpies.
During his career he scored 287 goals playing in black and white.

In 2001 Michael Styles receive the ultimate accolade from his club; he was named as a member of Glenorchy's Team of the Century.
Currently in 2003 he is assistant coach at SFL
Regional league club Huonville.
